Laura Martin and Chloe Kent are established TV, Theatre and Film music composers and have released albums with Universal Music Publishing, Bibliotheque Music Library and Five Missions More Music Publishing. Clients include Vodafone (TVC), Tang (TVC), Gardeners World (BBC2), Repair Shop (BBC1) and Confronting Holocaust Denial with David Baddiel (BBC2).
Laura is also a solo artist working under the name ‘Laura J Martin’ and ‘Wyndow’. She has released four critically acclaimed albums and has collaborated / written with artists including Laura Marling, Teenage Fanclub, Cerys Matthews, Tunng and Euros Childs (Gorky’s Zygotic Mynci). Her work is played regularly on BBC6 Music and Radio 3’s Late Junction. She has also written for theatre, and her credits include ‘Bright Phoenix’ (Everyman Theatre Liverpool), and BFI Southbank.
Chloe graduated with a 1:1 in Composition and Performance from Manchester University having studied with John Casken (Comp), and Ronnie Birks (Perf) of the Lindsay Quartet. She has worked as a session violinist / string arranger for many years and has played / recorded or written for artists including Beck, Kanye West, The Delgados, Adrien Corker (Mute) and Cafe Del Mar.
